The Indian subcontinent group of PGITI comprises of about 60 members who are from the USA, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. This group is open to everyone who is from the Indian subcontinent, has lived there, or would like to know more about the countries represented.
We meet bimonthly, usually on a Friday, for either a morning or an evening activity. 
We celebrate the Festival of Lights- Diwali together each year with music, dance and great food. Volunteers are always welcome for this event. Come eat and exchange recipes for delicious desserts in the festive season in December. We also organize Indian jewelry making workshops, pottery painting events, Art museum visits and Bowling night.
Newcomers are strongly encouraged to try and attend some of these events. You can meet up with people who might live in your area and can help you with information about schools, shopping etc.
