Dear PGITI Members,
Happy May everyone! It is hard to believe we are almost at the end of the fiscal - what a busy year it has been!
Last month we had fun at our "Trails and Tales" event at Sharonville and prior to that our AGM at Kenwood Country Club. Thanks to all of you who joined and our Coffee team, Elizabeth and Imama for organizing.
At our AGM, we communicated some upcoming changes all the details of which are shown on the website. In summary, we are happy to welcome four new members -Alessandra Peloni, Wydad El Moubaraki, Dilay Ackadag, and Shelly Helser to our Lead Team. There will also be some internal changes and sadly one person, Bubby Mavlankar, will be leaving our team. We thank Bubby for all her work for Programs, especially the unforgettable formal event last October at the View.
Also at the AGM, Nicole, our Interest group leader, shared our Interest Group activity areas including three new ones - Volunteer, Book Club 2, and Mahjong. It was great that many of you already signed up at the AGM. If you missed that and are still interested please check our website for more information.
Looking ahead, we have more fun events planned for the rest of the year including the upcoming Fall. On May 14th we have our final event of the year "Beautiful Starts Here" at NK Studio&Spa in Mason. We will then start off the new fiscal with our "Latin Party Fiesta" on Sept 6th and our "Welcome Back" event on Sept 15th, followed by a dog picnic and a tour of Loveland Castle. We hope you are as excited about these as we are.
Finally, while we are relieved that we have filled many roles on our lead team, we are still missing chairs for our Family Events. These events, such as the Pumpkin Patch are a very popular tradition at PGITI and it would be a shame if we could not continue them. So we are asking again, please, if you would be willing to take on a Family chair role or even help organize a particular Family event, please contact us atThis email address is being protected from spambots.
